growing leaders, growing churches

CPAS enables churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus

My CPAS

Is God calling you?

A still small voice? A tap on the shoulder? A question from a friend (or several)? A burning inner voice? Could God be calling you to ordained or authorised ministry in the Church?

For over 45 years, CPAS has been helping men and women discern God's call. Here are some of the ways we can help you:

  • Online vocations tool

Your S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry is a free online tool to help men, women and young people explore whether or not God is calling them to ordained ministry. It includes stories of how some young clergy became clearer about their own call to ordination. The tool is intended to be a first step on a journey of exploration. It helps you think about which areas you most need to explore further and suggests some helpful next steps. You can find this resource here.

  • Personal vocational guidance

CPAS leadership development advisers offer in-depth, independent and confidential advice on vocational matters. Our emphasis is on personal conversations which will help you move forward to whatever God is calling you to.

Our knowledge and experience of Christian ministries, and in particular of authorised ministries in the Church of England, means that we can offer impartial and comprehensive advice whenever it is needed.

For more information or to arrange a conversation, please contact our vocations team on 01926 458461 or vocations@cpas.org.uk.
