making disciples, developing leaders, growing churches

CPAS enables churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus

Future vacancies

Benefices where CPAS will at least part-responsibility for appointing incumbents over the next few months.

CPAS seeks to fill vacant parishes with a succession of incumbents who have a real heart for the gospel and are committed to moving churches from maintenance to mission – an aim which accords both with CPAS' mission statement and with the declared priorities of the Church of England.

The trustees of the three patronage trusts administered by CPAS have responsibility (in some cases this is shared with others) to appoint incumbents to these benefices over the next few months.

If you are particularly interested in any in the list below, please email patronage@cpas.org.uk or call 0300 123 0780 (ext. 4388) and we will be able to tell you where we have reached in the appointment process. We cannot, of course, guarantee that your enquiry will be taken any further by the trustees.

The advertised vacancies page has details to download about posts currently seeking applications.

As well as the main list of forthcoming incumbencies below (arranged alphabetically, by Diocese), we will also be seeking to appoint some clergy as team vicars for individual churches which are part of team ministries under the leadership of a team rector in the following parishes:
