Training events will allow you to explore the value of Christian mentoring and be introduced to the resource material.
Events will help churches in setting up mentoring networks by:
- Exploring why mentoring is needed.
- Clarifying what Christian mentoring is.
- Identifying core skills for mentoring and offering them some practice using exercises from Mentoring Matters.
- Explaining how the resource could be used to further identify, equip and resources mentors in their church.
These events are suitable for vicars, curates, youth leaders, and anyone else who might be interested in setting up a mentoring scheme.
The fee for attending a Mentoring Matters event is £28 (including materials and refreshments), and £22 for each additional person from the same church. For the discount to apply, you will need to make a group booking.
The Mentoring Matters pack is available to buy at training events, with a 10% discount.
