Sharpen discipleship and leadership in your church
Mentoring Matters is a new CPAS resource released this month, with everything you need to start a church-based mentoring network.
Many in our churches are looking for help as they grapple with how to be a disciple and leader in such a fast moving, rapidly changing world. A mentoring relationship provides an intentional way of engaging with God’s agenda.
Discover more and read the mentoring experiences of Malcolm, Karen and Chris.
Arrow applications open
Applications are now open for the next Arrow Leadership Programme, which equips influential leaders aged 25-40 for a lifetime of highly effective missional leadership.
Asa Humphreys finished Arrow in 2007 and is now a lay chaplain in two secondary schools in Salisbury, with a ministry of listening, serving and responding to needs.
‘I’ve had the best training there is, and now I know what I’m capable of – what I do is scary, unusual and new but now I’m able to do it. The impact Arrow has made has been incalculable. The quality of the training, and the confidence I was given that I was gifted and called by God were invaluable.’
Further information about Arrow and application forms are available from our website.

Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit
James Lawrence, CPAS leadership principal, is being interviewed on the topic of ‘Where are all the younger leaders?’ at the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit, which is coming to several UK cities during October and November. His invitation as the sole UK-based guest speaker for this series of events recognises our significant contribution in the area of leadership development.
