Help us improve ...
We're looking at ways of improving the content of our news and prayer resources for supporters.
Please spend a couple of minutes answering a few short questions about CPAS and this e-bulletin. Thank you!
This autumn's Growing Leaders training evenings are well underway, giving church leaders the chance to learn more about developing leaders for mission in their context.
A participant on the Northampton training evening which took place in October said:
'I found the advice on the practicialities of running the course helpful, and the importance of prayer before, during and after. I couldn't fault it - inspiring!'
There are two Growing Leaders training evenings happening this month, in Manchester on 2 November, and London on 30 November. See more information about training evenings.

There is just one month left to apply for the next CPAS Arrow Leadership Programme. We're looking for men and women aged 25-40, in leadership positions at the level of minister, curate or youth worker, who have a heart for evangelism, are willing to be challenged in their personal development and are prepared to change.

If this is something which interests you (or somebody you know) please act now. The deadline for applications and referenes is Thursday 1 December.
Find out more, watch a short video and download the application forms here.
You can also pick up Ventures DVDs and promotional leaflets and meet staff from the Ventures head office team.
Youthwork - the conference takes place in Eastbourne on 18-20 November, and you'll find the Ventures stand in the exhibition hall.
And don't forget ... bookings for next year's Ventures open on 1 December, not long now!
Following the call of God
Last month, two CPAS lifecall young vocations events gave 16-25s the opportunity to explore God's purpose for their life, and consider a calling to Christian leadership.
A participant at lifecall in Reading said:
'I came away feeling thoroughly inspired and encouraged. By the end of the day, I knew that what God wanted most for my life was to know that I was loved and to become who he created me to be, whatever shape that might take.
'As well as a deeper sense of peace about following and further exploring God's call, I felt stirred by what I had heard and also came away with some really great practical advice about taking the next step.'
