Leading Edge provides a unique opportunity for lay and ordained leaders to examine key issues of local church leadership. Each forum comprises eight to ten participants, a trainer and a facilitator. Leading Edge is grounded in reality and is designed to provide you with insight and skills to lead a missional church.
Each Leading Edge event provides the opportunity for you to discuss a key leadership issue alongside other local church leaders.
Current events (which you can see listed further down this page) cover the topics of Discerning Direction, Enabling Action and Leadership and Mission in a Multi-Church Benefice.
Future Leading Edge forums will include:
- Developing Teams.
- Spiritual Maturity in Christian leadership.
- Developing as a Missional Leader.
The fee for attending a Leading Edge event is £25 (including materials and refreshments), and £20* for each additional person from the same church. The cost of running Leading Edge is subsidised by CPAS.
* For the discount to apply, you will need to make a group booking.
Please note: From 1 January 2011 the cost of Leading Edge events will rise to £28 for the first person and £22* for each additional person from the same church.
