CPAS enables churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus

My CPAS

Emma Amyes

emmaEmma Amyes, who is curate at St Philip and St James in Hucclecote, Gloucestershire, is mentored by Rosie Ward, CPAS leadership development adviser.

Emma said: 'Rosie's experience and humility has been excellent, especially her understanding of the pressures of ordained ministry.

'I have to admit that I didn't know who she was when we met, but shortly afterwards I was at a Gloucester Diocese event and they were plugging one of her books! I often feel like the woman in those books, who is capable but lacking in confidence.

'Rosie challenges me and builds me up. She recommends great books and is an excellent listener, as well as having amazing contacts who have been through similar experiences to my own.'
