Caroline Raby, challenged on the CPAS Growing Leaders course to prayerfully consider her personal vocation into leadership ministry.

Even as a churchwarden, Caroline was always reluctant to think of herself as a leader. But during Growing Leaders she was challenged to consider her personal vocation into leadership ministry. This has led her into a time of prayerful discernment, considering training as a Reader or for ordination.

Caroline, who works as a senior nurse manager in Barnstaple, Devon, said: 'I now understand that leadership is about more than just ordained people.

'Inspired on Growing Leaders to reach out to those who may be seeking or exploring the Christian faith, I am now co-leading an evangelism course at church.'

The CPAS vision includes developing 25,000 men and women just like Caroline to become more effective in leadership.
