making disciples, developing leaders, growing churches

CPAS enables churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus

New Wine seminars review (September 2010)

John Dunnett, CPAS general director, spoke at three seminars at New Wine this summer. You can purchase 'Sustaining leaders' and '10 steps to a better team' from www.essentialchristian.com. Click here to go directly to John Dunnett's seminars.

New Wine 2010'Essential mentoring' and 'Growing young leaders' were the topics covered by Ruth Hassall in her seminars. Ruth is a CPAS leadership development adviser with a focus on youth and children's ministry, and her seminars are available here.

All our talks seemed to be 'scratching where people were itching' and it's a privilege to be able to equip so many Christian leaders to serve God more effectively.

Andy Castle, another CPAS leadership development adviser, spoke at Club One to 500 12-13 year olds on 'Unstoppable boldness'. Andy looked at David and Goliath, and how David walked in the confidence of the living God. Sadly, this is not available online (although you can listen to Andy on the CPAS youth ministry podcast!).

If these talks whet your appetite, have a look at www.makingmissionpossible.org.uk for CPAS leadership development events near you.

Please pray for:

  • All those who attended these seminars at New Wine. Ask God to help these leaders put into practice what they learned so that his kingdom may grow.
  • John Dunnett, Ruth Hassall, Andy Castle and other CPAS leadership development advisers as they seek to equip and encourage leaders in mission.
  • Men and women involved in mentoring teenagers, and growing young people as leaders.
