Leading a Church Plant - 1 (5 April)

Online Training Event

Who Plants Churches?

In the first of this series of three we ask the question, can anyone plant a church? Or do you need to be a kind of spiritual superhero? An examination of what gifts, personalities and experiences are needed to lead a church plant, and how to spot these in others or yourself.

This is part one of the Leading a Church Plant series, but can also be attended as a standalone event. Church planting can appear complicated and confusing, yet it is a great way of reaching new people with the gospel. Aimed at those at the coalface, each session will look at the basic principles and practice of church planting and apply them into your current context.

This series, led by John Valentine, an experienced practitioner, is for those who are wondering about leading a church plant, leaders of sending churches, and those who are in the early stages of planting. They will plot a clear course from beginnings to the actual launch and into the first three years of the life of a church plant.
