Henry Curran is a vicar in Nottingham and graduate of the CPAS Arrow Leadership Programme.
He began Arrow 'fast approaching burnout' and ended it refreshed and equipped, describing it as 'the most significant thing since I became a Christian'.
Henry added: 'Arrow has been a truly ministry-saving experience. The combination of a remarkably loving community, some excellent Bible teaching and great wisdom from some very experienced leaders enabled me to find a fresh intimacy with God and learn skills and habits that have transformed my ministry, which leaves me looking forward to many decades of it.
'I'm passionate about preaching and evangelism, but when I started Arrow I had doubts about whether I was really called to be a leader.'
The confirmation that Henry needed came in the final Bible teaching session on Arrow, about Paul writing to Timothy as a young leader:
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction ... keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:2,5)
