St Mary’s sits in the centre of our lively suburban village by the city of Chelmsford. With a committed congregation and active lay leadership, we long to see others come to know Jesus and the Kingdom of God grow in Great Baddow.
As we enter a new season of mission and ministry as a single parish benefice, we are looking for a Rector Designate who is rooted in prayer and confident in preaching and teaching; someone able to engage people of all ages, encourage the diversity of our worship, and able to motivate and nurture vocations for local and national ministry. We are looking for someone who will value pastoral care and safeguarding, and have the vision to lead growth in evangelism, discipleship and community engagement.
