An inspiring leadership opportunity at Christ Church, Southborough - a warm, welcoming evangelical church known for its relaxed, friendly worship and deep love for the Bible.


What we think we need!

  • A Pastor who can minister to and lead our congregation
  • A visionary who will be able to develop and drive our long-term vision forward
  • A team builder, someone who wants to work with and utilise people's skills 

In addition, we seek someone who:

  • Is an enthusiastic Bible-believing person who lives, teaches and preaches based on Biblical principles and is open to the leading of the Holy Spirit
  • Can demonstrate success in pastoral care and organising a pastoral team
  • Can empathise with all ages in the congregation and community
  • Is able to nurture and develop spiritual growth in individuals, and identify their spiritual gifts
  • Has the ability to work with primary school children and build on our children & youth work
  • Has a passion to know God and make Him known in the community
  • Be willing to act as foundation governor at the local primary school
  • Possesses a sense of humour and sense of fun!


All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists check.
