Sparkford 1 - CPAS Holiday

Encounter Jesus. Grow Together. Live for Him.

Sparkford 1 exists because the Gospel is true, and we long for people to believe it that they might have life in Jesus.  We aim to be both evangelistic – so this is a great place to come and encounter the person of Jesus for the first time – but also disciplers of young Christians who want to work out what it looks like to shape their lives around him.

We believe this is done well in the context of caring and kind relationships, which is why we also have so much fun together.

We believe this is done well on a full stomach, which is why we work so hard to providing a full and tasty menu.

We believe this is done well when we are a support act to the local church, which is why we try and maintain relationships with churches outside of the summer, and why we hope for all members to be plugged into a church when they return home.

And we believe this is only possible when God is the one who opens hearts, which is why listen to him in his word, and why we pray earnestly and frequently, seeking his help in our weakness.

'He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.'
Colossians 1:28

Sparkford 1 exists to:

Meet Jesus

Everything at Sparkford 1 is centred on Jesus. We long for young people to encounter him, discover the truth of the Gospel, and find the life that only he can give.

Grow as a Disciple

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or have been following Jesus for years, Sparkford 1 helps young Christians grow in confidence as they learn what it means to shape their lives around him.

Belong Together

Faith grows best in community. Through kindness, laughter, and genuine friendships, we create a place where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

Support the Local Church

We believe camp works best when it strengthens the ministry of local churches. We encourage young people to stay connected to church life and continue growing in faith when they return home.

Depend on God

We know lasting change comes from God alone. That's why we listen to his Word, pray together, and rely on the Holy Spirit to open hearts and transform lives.
