Venture and Falcon holidays

Due to the current COVID-19 situation in the UK, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all our summer residential events this year. We have made contact with everyone who is booked on to a Venture or Falcon this summer giving details of our refund process. If you have not heard from us yet, please contact us either via email (ventures@cpas.org.uk) or by calling 0300 123 0780. Please note, we began processing refunds in early May and anticipate it will take five weeks to complete all refunds.

CPAS events

Unfortunately, many of our training events have had to be cancelled or postponed. We are working hard to rearrange events to later in the year. You can see an up-to-date list of training events in our events calendar.

On Thursday 11 June 2020 from 10-11am or 2-3pm, we're delighted to be able to offer two one hour webinars entitled Leadership in Lockdown. The session will be led by James Lawrence, Leadership Principal at CPAS, and is open to all church leaders. Please note, booking is essential as spaces are limited.

CPAS resources and online shop

Our digital resources are still available to purchase as normal from the CPAS shop aswell as a limited range of physical products. Please note that our office is currently closed, therefore we can only take orders via our online shop. This is to ensure safe and secure processing for our customers' orders. Please note we do process orders regularly, but deliveries could be subject to delays which are not within our control due to the Covid-19 situation.

We have also been involved with producing a free downloadable resource to help churches and ministers in these extraordinary times. In Everybody Welcome Online, Bob Jackson and George Fisher offer ideas for good practice along with practical and spiritual insights into how to welcome people to church online at this time.

CPAS patronage

Many appointment processes are being put on hold around the country - however we are working hard to move them forward where possible. Meanwhile, if you are interested in applying for a CPAS parish, please email patronage@cpas.org.uk and register with us.

Prayer and news updates

Up-to-date information and prayer points are being shared on Twitter (@CPASNews, @CPASVentures), Facebook (@CPASNews, @CPASVentures), Instagram (@CPASNews, @CPASVentures) and PrayerMate (CPAS PrayerMate). Thank you for standing with us in prayer at this challenging time.

Praying for you

We are holding staff prayers digitally every weekday, and would love to pray for you and your church. If you have any particular prayer requests, please email info@cpas.org.uk.

Making donations

If you are able to support our work at this time of crisis, we would be so grateful. We have set up a special Ventures and Falcons Stewardship campaign in response to the non-recoverable losses incurred by the cancellation of our summer residentials. If you don't have a Stewardship account you can still give - please just sign in as a guest.

You can also continue to give to the ministry of CPAS as a whole through the CPAS website, by phoning 024 7526 7835 9am-12.30pm Monday-Friday, or by sending a cheque payable to CPAS to our main office. Thank you.
