MPB: Building Teams (2 of 6)
Strengthening collaborative teams across multi parish benefices enables leadership, responsibility, and ministry to be shared more effectively.
Why it matters: Multi-parish ministry was common until the early 19th century, but parishes have forgotten this! Creating healthy teams and encouraging wider participation is a Biblical mandate for how the body of Christ is called to minister with multiple churches.
Learning outcome: Participants will explore how no one person or group can carry everything and trying to do so risks personal and structural burn out. Steps to encourage involvement and responsibility will be explored.
Who for and cost: Overall leaders of MPBs. You are welcome to book a small team from your MPB to join you. We request that you are in one physical location together to join online.
