Getting the Right People onto PCC (March 2025)

Finding the Right People for the Right Roles
Strong and effective PCCs begin with the right people in the right roles. This session explores how churches can prayerfully and strategically identify individuals whose gifts and passions align with the responsibilities of PCC membership.
Drawing on the biblical understanding that the Holy Spirit equips the Church with diverse gifts, we’ll look at how these can be discerned, encouraged, and developed within the local context. The session also considers the role of church leaders in recognising emerging leaders and supporting them in their calling.
Alongside this, we’ll cover the practical and legal aspects of recruitment—ensuring that processes are safe, fair, and transparent, and that each person is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to the life and mission of the church.
Ideal for incumbents, churchwardens, and anyone involved in shaping or supporting PCC membership.
