The Long Haul and Leading a Church Through Culture Change (26 March)

Are you in Christian leadership and aged 40 and under? Are you looking to connect with other young leaders?
Every leader knows that shaping culture takes time, patience, and prayer, and that it often feels harder than we expect. In this session, Adrian Beavis will help us explore what it looks like to lead a church through culture change, including how to communicate a clear vision, how to spot the signs of healthy and unhealthy culture, and how to persevere for the long haul.
Adrian was associate vicar of St Stephens Twickenham for five years, before becoming vicar of St Luke's Earls Court - a dynamically multi-cultural church in Central London. With around 2/3rds of the church speaking English as a second language, the issues of culture and cultural change were always significant joys and challenges. After 12 years, Adrian moved to Christ Church Woking, where his first day as vicar was the second day of the first Covid Lockdown. Adrian is married with three kids, and is passionate about history, Mission, Aston Villa and faith, hope and love.
Join us for practical wisdom, honest reflections, and encouragement for the journey.
