Rector Walton and Trimley (Suffolk)

Felixstowe | St Edmundsbury & Ipswich | Closing date: 28 May

Walton and Trimley are rapidly growing villages on the outskirts of Felixstowe on the beautiful Suffolk coast. It is an attractive area in which to live and work, with the sea, two rivers and beautiful open countryside on your doorstep. Our mission is to Grow in Faith, to Make Jesus Known and, to Be His Light.

We are praying that our new Rector will:

  • Have a vibrant, prayerful, living faith that fuels a deep love for the people of the Benefice.
  • Be able to teach from God’s word in an engaging and relevant way.
  • Be a leader who will seek God’s vision with the Church and use the gifts and passions within the Benefice to work towards it

We can offer:

  • A strong, welcoming, praying, loving community who will support their Rector in ministry and life
  • A passionate group of ministerial colleagues who will work alongside the new incumbent.
  • Active Churches with energy, enthusiasm and a range of skills that support the mission and ministry of the Churches and will seek to embrace the challenges of growth.
