We are a Benefice of two Derbyshire village churches with vibrant and growing communities. We are excited to welcome you to lead, strengthen and develop our vision of mission and help us to grow and explore ways to deepen our faith and explore worship.
The Benefice is located in the rural west of the East Derbyshire Archdeaconry on the edge of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District. Crich Stand dominates the skyline and beneath are the Towers of St Mary’s and nearby All Saints, visible symbols of the light and life we enjoy experiencing with our communities.
We can offer you:
- Committed and gifted volunteers, lay leaders and PTO colleagues
- Sensitivity to the fact that this is a part time post and concern for the well-being of a priest in charge
- Established relationships with three church primary schools and other local denominations
- Congregations who want to share Gods love in their communities, many of whom are actively involved in community groups and activities
This post comes with a 4-bedroomed vicarage in Crich, with garage and private garden.
