Vicar of St John's, Welling

Welling | Rochester | Closing date: 02 November

St John’s is next door to Danson Park and just a short walk from Welling High Street, and has been part of the local community since 1926.

It is a warm and welcoming, missionally focused, Spirit-filled church, rooted in the evangelical and charismatic tradition, and with a history of supporting and resourcing neighbouring churches.

Our new Vicar will need to:

  • be rooted in God's Word, prayer, and the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
  • have a heart for mission and evangelism, and a vision for working collaboratively with our Ministry Team and others.
  • be a gifted preacher/teacher, with a traditional evangelical view of Scripture.
  • able to confidently lead us in a variety of worship styles.
