Broadwater is a vibrant evangelical parish within the Deanery of Worthing. The Patrons, Bishop of Chichester, and Parish seek to appoint a Team Rector who will offer dynamic biblical, pastoral and evangelistic leadership at a crucial time in our journey, as we seek to know, love and follow Jesus.
We are praying for a new rector who is
- A gifted Bible teacher, with excellent communication skills
- An inspirational servant-leader, with a proven ability to develop a clear vision
- An enabler of others, who will identify, nurture, and release the gifts of people of all ages and backgrounds
- Approachable, kind and compassionate, with a pastoral heart and a genuine love for the Lord Jesus Christ and His people.
- Evangelistically-minded, with a vision to see the Gospel making evangelism central to our church’s DNA.
- Committed to growing and developing congregations, by building on the variety of existing ministries and welcoming newcomers into the life of the church family.
