Patronage Secretary and Team Leader

Are you enthusiastic about helping clergy discern their future calling?
Do you have a passion for helping parishes grasp the opportunities of a vacancy?
Can you work effectively with senior diocesan staff?
Are you committed to evangelism and the future of the Church of England?

In preparation for the departure of the current Patronage Secretary, the CPAS trustees wish to appoint a dynamic, ordained evangelical to lead the Society's patronage work. You will exercise a strategic ministry with significant potential to shape the future life of the Church in this country, advising and guiding churches through the appointment process, up to and including interviews, and building on the existing strong relationships with dioceses and senior staff.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience of leading a church, and an understanding of the Church of England appointments system, you will have the wisdom and discernment to appoint godly men and women committed to seeing the Church grow.

CPAS is the largest independent patron in England, with joint or sole patronage responsibility for 531 livings across all 41 Church of England dioceses in England.
